The idea for South London's electro-rock outfit Clor came from Bad Bunny, a clubhouse night that isaac M. Singer Barry Dobbin and guitarist Luke Smith ran. Along with the music they already spun -- which ranged from reggae to electronic to pop -- the duette wanted to comprise their have music into their DJ sets, so they began recording at Smith's apartment. Dobbin and Smith invited some of the other musicians and crew involved with Bad Bunny into the flock, and Clor (so named because Dobbin wanted something that sounded raw, archaic, and futurist at the same time) expanded to a quintette. The group recorded a demonstration, Welcome Music Lovers, with the intent of sending it out to good Book shows at other clubs. However, tidings of mouth about Clor's demo spread so cursorily that the ring gestural to Parlophone after playing only six-spot gigs. Welcome Music Lovers was released as the band's debut EP late in 2004. Despite their record deal, Clor's creative process didn't change much: the band recorded its 2005 self-titled debut (which was preceded by the singles Beloved + Pain and Outlines) at Smith's shoes, and the results were as kinky and danceable as ever. In spring 2006, simply ahead Clor was imputable for release in the U.S., the band bust up imputable to creative differences.

Smith wins appeal for R rating for 'Porno'

Filmmaker Kevin Smith has won an appeal to lower the valuation for his comedy "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" from an adults-only NC-17 to an R.

Angie Everhart - Everhart Arrested For Drink Driving

Actress/model ANGIE EVERHART has been arrested for drink driving - just days after splitting from longtime love JOE PESCI.

The 38-year-old was arrested shortly after 2am last Thursday (24Apr08) in Los Angeles after failing a sobriety test.

According to TMZ.com, Everhart persuaded police officers to allow her to use the toilet in a nearby restaurant before taking the test, which she subsequently failed.

She is also reported to have refused to take part in any chemical testing because she claimed her attorney had told her not to.

The Denial star was held on $15,000 (GBP7,500) bail but was released later that day.

She is due in court on 15 May (08).

It hasn't been a good seven days for Sylvester Stallone's ex - last week (ends25Apr08), Pesci ended his engagement to Everhart, nine months after proposing. The couple had been together for seven years.

Trans World Entertainment Announces First Quarter 2008 Results

ALBANY, N.Y., May 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Trans World
Entertainment Corporation (Nasdaq: TWMC) today announced total sales for
the first quarter ended May 3, 2008 decreased 19% to $232.6 million,
compared to $286.3 million in the first quarter of 2007. Comparable store
sales in the first quarter of 2008 decreased 6%. For the first quarter of
2008, the loss before income taxes was $11.7 million compared to a loss
before income taxes of $15.8 million for the same period last year. For the
first quarter of 2008, the net loss was $11.8 million, or $0.38 per share
compared to a net loss of $9.1 million, or $0.29 per share for the same
period last year. The Company recorded income tax expense of $0.1 million
during the first quarter of 2008, compared to an income tax benefit of $6.7
million last year.

"Overall retail sales were weak in the first quarter. While comp sales
in music continued to decline, we experienced increases in video, video
games and our other category which includes electronics, accessories and
trend," said Robert J. Higgins, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
Trans World Entertainment.

Gross profit as a percentage of sales for the first quarter of 2008 was
35.7% compared to 36.5% in the first quarter of 2007. SG&A as a percentage
of sales decreased to 38.0%, compared to 38.3% last year.

Heather Mills - Mills Photographer Has Conviction Quashed

A British paparazzo who was found guilty of assaulting HEATHER MILLS has had his conviction overturned - because the former glamour model was "too stressed" to attend his appeal hearing.

Jay Kaycappa was sentenced to 140 hours community service for grabbing Mills' shoulder as he attempted to take her photo in a Brighton, England subway in July 2006.

The 32-year-old snapper was handed the community punishment order at Brighton Magistrates Court in August (07).

But the conviction has now been quashed after the court heard that Sir Paul MCCartney's ex-wife was too stressed to attend his appeal hearing.

Lewes Crown Court heard that Mills was "refusing to give evidence", with prosecutors adding , "We don't know where she is." The court was then shown a doctor's report claiming Mills was suffering from stress.

The judge allowed the appeal and overturned Kaycappa's sentence.
